Summary

I am a Seattle-based wood panel oil painter specializing in diverse, inclusive science fiction, fantasy, and pop culture portraiture. I use mostly reclaimed and salvaged wood pieces typically no larger than 24” x 24”. My work is often inspired by cross-cultural identity and diaspora, gender expression, faith and folklore - real world ideas that I deconstruct and reassemble through fiction and storytelling as a left-handed queer artist of color and second-generation Cantonese/Korean-American.
